(Again) SURABAYA!!

So, back with me and my friend, call her, Yossie.

After looked at some photos of my friend about Merlion somewhere in Surabaya, I got jealous. If I could go to the original country where it belongs to, I should find no problem to visit the one in my country. Because of my stupid reasoning, I asked Yossie to go to Surabaya since I haven’t gone there with her.

But you know what? Yossie told me that the Merlion is located somewhere in Citra Regency or Citra Land or Citra something which it means: it is located in an elite place for residences. Okay, challenge accepted. I always have my map with me so I learned the map, the transportation as usual and God! It is quite far from railway station or even bus terminal. How can we reach that? By angkot? By taxi? No way! So I read again my map and suggested Yossie that we will visit other places since we love to walk to every place that we want to visit. Besides, I made a promise to her to go to Surabaya because she said she want to go to an Indian restaurant somewhere in Surabaya, so I believe this occasion will fulfill my promise to her too. We avoided weekend since it will be too crowded and Yossie also needs to go to church.

Because of that, several airports are closed , include Abdurrahman Saleh Airport in Malang and Juanda Airport in Surabaya. I haven’t heard anything about numbers of people who died or disappeared, but I hope people are safe there.  Continue reading
